The Course
Set in a private valley in the eastern Algarve, Monte Rei is the only Jack Nicklaus Signature course in Portugal. The North Course winds through native cork oak and umbrella pine, with subtle elevation changes and immaculate conditioning year-round.
Opened in 2007, Monte Rei has consistently been ranked the number one course in Portugal. Nicklaus personally walked the site multiple times during construction.
